Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, give a man fishing rod and he can always eat. This famous statement is so true. Markets Central will be writing a series about learning how to engage in the activity of craft making.
Markets Central is packed full of handmade products lovingly created by awesome creative people just like you. Inside each of us is a creative dynamic entrepreneur just waiting to explode onto the scene. There are so many different types of handcraft activity which may be of interest to our community. We have decided to embark on a journey of discovery, looking at the vast variety of artistic and crafter endeavors that abound throught Australia. In this new series of "Discover the crafter within you" we will be reaching into the studios of artists and crafters and getting their tips and stories. How better to learn than to listen to the many voices of experience.
Follow Markets Central as we take you on a journey through Australia's Arts and crafts community over the next few weeks. Our intention is that once you have learnt to make then its off to market you go! Our "How to become a trader" series is set to follow.

As in any great quest we start with you. Asking you what is it that interests you? Who would you like to hear about. Tell us, and our intrepid researcher will seek out the information and write compelling short stories about the object of your craft desires. Right here on Markets Central.
